How To Watch the Baseball Playoffs for Free

Can you watch the 2015 MLB playoffs without paying for cable?

I am, and it’s completely legal.

The playoffs are being broadcasted by TBS, and if you don’t have cable, you can’t watch it.

Sure, you could go to the bar and watch the game, but if you want to watch it for free in your home, there IS a way to stream TBS (Yes, LEGALLY) without having cable.

In fact, I’m watching game 3 of the Cubs vs. Cards on TBS for free right now using Sling TV.

What is Sling TV?

So I signed up for the 7 day free trial and within 3 minutes, I was able to watch the games live without any problems. The picture is very clear and I’ve had no lag with my regular internet connection.

One negative about Sling so far:

There are commercials between innings, which is slightly annoying. I was expecting no commercials since it’s a paid service, but I guess you still have commercials with cable, so it’s a wash.

When is the World Series in 2015?

In case you were wondering, the 2015 World Series will begin on Tuesday October 27.

Here’s the World Series Schedule:

  • Game 1: Tue, Oct 27
  • Game 2: Wed, Oct 28
  • Game 3: Fri, Oct 30
  • Game 4: Sat, Oct 31
  • Game 5: Sun, Nov 1
  • Game 6: Tue, Nov 3
  • Game 7: Wed, Nov 4

If you sign up for sling now, you can catch a good number of the playoff series for free within the 7-day trial. if you don’t like sling, you can cancel with no questions asked.   Even if you paid for 1 month ($20) it would be worth the cost to watch all the playoff games at your home. I mean you’d spend $20 at a sports bar one night to watch a game, so paying $20 for all the games is a no brainer.

Check out the free trial of Sling and start watching the MLB playoffs for free.
